ma (間) — a place to play go

ma is a free web app for playing go, the board game also known as baduk and weiqi. The board is 9x9, 13x13 or 19x19.

You can play someone sitting beside you, play one of six machines, play a stranger who happens to be awake, send a private link to someone you know, or watch a legendary game replay itself move by move.

There is also a library of tsumego problems, minted from the public collections of online-go.com.

There are no ads, no account of its own (a game against a person signs in with online-go.com), no payments, no downloads and no chat. Nothing is collected but an anonymous count of visits.

The board is drawn with JavaScript. Turn it on and the room opens.
